Star Trek Builders Unite 7: The Continuing MissionKeep in mind his "Kasa" package was geared for Aiko 3. Since the pawed feet appear to be "switched geometry" the set will be useless for any other figure.
Well, sortaalmost butnotquite — they'll load on to Hiro3 as well, but since Aiko's legs are a slightly different shape, there's a gap at the knee joint. It could probably be fixed with a morph, but since my morph-fu skills are decidedly lacking, all I can do is make sure Hiro's knees are covered by something. The only real issue I have with the Kasa paws is that they're a bit on the weedy side. I've bulked them up as much as the mesh will take, but they're still not really sturdy-looking enough for a bunch of 6'12" neveryoumindwhatsheweighs lions.

Gaffer Tape
Another method is using the SimTenero Shape Reprojector script (availible in the store), which creates a morph for one object based on intersecting geometry of another object. Also mCasual has a free script and plugin that can shrink wrap something like a hollow cylinder around an object. All methods mentioned so far are viable it just depends on preference and skill set.

What do you think about this promo?(Critique Requested)

Based on images alone I am not really sure but it does look like something I would buy. Does it exagerate different body parts? Melt them? And create pov perspective? I'm not sure... I just know it looks fun and like a need to own item.
Does it exagerate different body parts?yes. Essential requirement, to have another morph.
Melt them? Mix several morphs. yes.
pov perspective?What do you mean?
You already had the chance to see the video?
I think it's also fun, mixing with the morphs. Make crazy combinations. Only with the "Abominable" I have been able to make a great variety of characters. Strong men like Popeye / Bluto, Monsters of different types, some really ridiculous. It is an essential product for DAZ users.
Also, they have always asked for it for years.
https://www.daz3d.com/forums/discussion/14109/any-way-to-restricting-an-full-body-morph-to-not-affect-all-body-partsI would have to search well, but I have not seen any program that makes it as simple as this in any other software.

OT - ZBrush 2018, the newest version drops today. :)
Don't forget that the Sculptris Pro mode will change the mesh, so it's for original content creation not morph creation.
GOOD CALL, RICHARD! :)
But for creating all new content it should be amazing. You can sculpt new body armor, clothing, jewelry, places, vehicles, or a new critter and then retop and rig for DAZ.

Novica & Forum Members Tips & Product Reviews Pt 10
This is my ''Ollie morph" with the Genesis 8 essentials, t-shirt and shorts. The pose and expressions come straight out of the pack, but I tried D-force on the t-shirt and shorts. I have very little idea what I'm doing with D-force ... I need to read the relevant threads, but I wanted to see what happened. I wasn't supposed to be doing this today, but you know how it is. Playing is part of learning. Strange things happened to the shorts, but I love the draping on the t-shirt.

Big Girl Morphs for Genesis 3 Female Too!!!
Is this not possible with the last version of GENX2??
GenX2 doesn't support G8, so no.
The OP is asking for morphs for the G3 female...........not G8
hence,
"It would have been great to have Sickleyield's Big Girl Morphs adapted for Genesis 3 females also!!!!Just love her products!
And GenX doesn't transfer morphs from G8 since it doesn't support G8.
I see.. the OP did not link to the actual product.
Thus I mistook "Big Girls" to be this one by the same PA -
Using ZBrush Core and Daz
You probably need to set the morph, then use Edit>Figure>Rigging>Adjust Rigging to Shape. if that seems to work zero the pose, you should have just the moprh (at 100%) and the rigging adjustments active, then right-click in the parameters pane and make sure Edit Mode is checked, then right-click on your morph and select ERC Freeze. In the dialogue box check that the only things checked as sub-components are rigging adjustments (centres and endpoints), if that's OK click Accept, check it's still working, and save.

Using ZBrush Core and Daz
I thought I had asked this, but now I can't find the thread so it may have not gone.
I followed a series of tutorial videos by Hatton Slayden which suggested making a figure into an object, working on that object in ZBrush (I am using ZBrush Core, but it seemed to function similarly) saving the morph as an object and then importing it using Morph Loader Pro. It worked beautifully - I thought. But any movement of the figure (eg posing it) resulted in bizarre distortions. Is it some setting I am missing? I cannot use GoZ because it does not work with Daz. Perhaps it could be explored as a plugin, since it functions (I presume) with the expensive ZBrush program.
Any help will be welcome as I was pleased with my experiments until they went wrong. Thanks

Star Trek Builders Unite 7: The Continuing Mission
Inspired by a silly and "saucy" 4 panel comics by Drake Fenwick, I tried to create (or maybe the better word is "interpret") his admittedly rather dramatic first panel in which Lt. M'Ress rather than Kirk confronts the dreaded Gorn of "Arena".

Great work!
Hey Bill, do you have links for those morphs? I tried looking for the paw morph you listed by jenelson and/or archanisity, but nothing's coming up.here or Rendo.
I do wish there was a three-digit option paw morph to get closer to the animated drawings...hell, at this point, I'd even be happy with a decent four-digit cat's paw--
I'm sure you know how hard it is to parent the DAZ Big Cat 2 to a person's arm and still make it look decent during posing!

TRansfer, Fit to and other issues
Is this with the figure in the zero pose and shape? Remember that the male shape is not zero if you are literally using Genesis, not one of the later figures, so there will be the effect of the projected male morph (you would want to create a custom morph for that).

Photo-real characters. A different approach.
I really think it is the eyes that kill the photo realism most of the time. After studying a bunch of close ups of real eyes on a Google search I came to the conclussion that transition from the face (lids) to the eyes is way too abrubt. Here is a list of factors I believe are causing this in a lot of the renders I see. 1) The whites of the eyes are often way too white/bright. 2) The transition "line" between lid and eyeball is way too sharp. 3) In the photos of real eyes, they tend to have a lot more moisture, specifically right above the lower lid. In a lot of renders I've seen you don't really see this moisture line.
I've attempted to correct these issues in the attached sample. 1) I toned down the white/bright in the eyes a lot in Daz. 2) In Photoshop post work I added some "noise" to the line between the lower lid and the eyeball so it wasn't a perfect razor thin transition. I also used the blur tool to help ease the transistion. 3) This is the most important one I think; In postwork I added a white "moisture" line between the lower lid and the eyeball. Basically I just drew in a white line right above the lid, then turned down the opacity and blurred it a bit.
The eyes are the only thing I did postwork on. Additionally to help attempt with photo realism I made some features asymetrical. I also used the Victoria 7 ultra displacement maps at level four to give more detail. I didn't mess with the skin shaders at all though. That's just the Victoria 7 skin. The morph is 50% Victoria 7 and 50% someone else I can't remember off the top of my head. Oh, I also did a simple "sharpen" to the whole image in Photoshop.
Anyways, this is my attempt. It would fool me if I didn't know better. It kinda looks like a high school yearbook type photo (minus the fact that she has no clothes.)Oh, and the lighting/background is just one of the newer studio HDRIs from hdrihaven.com.
They are, but by the time I was studying the eyes (less than a second), I'd already noticed the hair as being 'off'.

Biometric Expressions: Make sure you have both morph packages!
Hello Biometric Expressions fans!
Due to a release error, Biometric Expressions: Screams of Terror and Battle! for Genesis 3 Female(s) was released listing only one required product. It actually requires two, just like the original. Users will need both
for it to work exactly as shown. This probably isn't an issue for most people who purchased it, but I just wanted to put it out there.

TRansfer, Fit to and other issues
OK, I'm making an armor to use with Genesis8 male character. The breastplate is deformed very oddly when I fit it to the Genesis model. The model under the armpit distorts, and no weighting can resolve the issue. I have to make sure, that the armor under the armpit is not deformed by the collarbones nor the shoulder bend bones. How would you solve this?
Thanks!
Szabolcs

What kind of clothing are you sorely missing?I had to make sure it would work for you. These are with and without the push modifier set at -.15. The collar got nice and crisp but there was a bit of poke through. I'm sure that can be adjusted out. If not the collar is a separate surface so you could put the shirt on him twice and hide or delete everything but the collar in one and the opposite in the other. Then only the collar would be affected by the push modifier. I'm still learning all this stuff too. Apparently you can not apply the push modifier to just part of a shirt. It's all or nothing.
You're my faery godmother! Thank you so much. Hopefully there's a morph in the collar so I can push the opening closer together and use it with a conventional Windsor knot tie. That way I can use the collar for my suit shirt.

DIM needs a better update system
As Chris mentioned, this was one of the design goals of Connect. Which would be nice, but there are too many side issues. Connect uses a different structure for installed files - and this structure does not work with the generation 4 characters (Vicki 4, Michael 4, all their siblings, and most if not all their morph packages); Connect cannot use your DIM downloads, so it needs to re-download for the initial Connect install. These would be bad enough - but Connect was also used to introduce the concept of encrypted content and the uproar over that drowned out the rest.

Two Pro Bundles in One Month!
I think they also were also supposed to be Russian. I think sometimes bundle content makers doesn't follow the theme as suggested. Rune seemed a typical female warrior with a small wrinkle around her eyes.
Totally agree. I honestly thought that most of the characters were fan based take offs on famous movie characters. Not identical but definitely inspired by favorite shows.
I think Ophelia was supposed to be more mature than the "Daz Average". But she's more a MILF type than an older aunt/grandmotherly type ;)
Laurie
I bought her because I thought she would look older but I rarely use her. Kinda sad. She is a nice character. I think like you said too milf for what I wanted her for.
Yeah, she'd play the cougar very well, but probably not so much your favorite aunt :P. (unless, of course, your favorite aunt is a cougar....lol)

Ivan is one of my favorite go to characters used him a lot as will Owen, Ollie has a lot of potentential for all kinds of characters. As for the ladies there are a few mature ones 30-40-50+ working on a project with a bunch of them in lingerie yes older ladies can be pinup models and attractive. Mei Linn 7 is a mature lady as is Ophelia 7 even more so with her HD morph she has a lot of blemishes and other marks and several others-trying to decide if any of my Olympia gals do think she may be late 20's early mid 30's. Rune, Arabella, Lillith7, and Eva mid late 30's Gia 6 30's but Gia 7 40's, Rune mid 30's-early 40nand the rest mid to late 2o's early 30's. But would like some more matures like I said they can be pinup models too
I randomly selected Briallen today to use for a warrior type while I was messing with some clothing experiments. I noticed that she had a lot of dimples from behind on her lower half and that her face looked older in the preview screen. However in iray renders the totally disapear and in 3delight they mostly disapear. Maybe it's not that there are not older characters but that ths textures are not extreem enough for them to show up in most renders. In smooth shaded you can actually see what look like skin folds on her back.
