FPE Día de los Muertos Makeup for Genesis 9 is a tribute to El Día de los Muertos (the Day of the Dead), a celebration at the heart of our beautiful México.

It's important to note that the Day of the Dead is unrelated to Halloween. Instead, it is a day when families come together to celebrate the memories of loved ones who are no longer with us. We believe that the spirits of the dead return to celebrate with their families on that day.

While the Catrina and the Catrin were born in 1912 as a social discord to make fun of and critique the Mexicans who sought to be perceived as higher in status by mimicking how Europeans dressed during that time (losing or foregoing their own identity in the process), these well-dressed Calaveras (skeletons) have since become icons of El Día de los Muertos (celebrated on the 2nd of November).

• 02 FULL BODY MAKEUPS

  This pack provides a Masculine and feminine Design that can be applied in two ways: as an Uber Iray Skin (using the Base MAT Preset) or via a Geoshell Wearable, which acts as a second skin layer for a non-destructive workflow. Geoshells are useful if you want to play with the opacity to make the underlying skin visible, as shown in one of the promos.

  Several partial presets can help you refine and customize the makeup, these include: 04 Offset Presets, 09 Skeleton Colors, 08 Decor Colors, 08 Accent Colors & 04 Opacity Presets.

  Please note that these makeups do come with genital support, meaning the textures will not cover any of the DAZ Genitalia.

• 01 CORONA DE MUERTOS & 01 SINGLE ROSE PROP

  The Corona can be a prop or wearable for your Genesis 9 Characters. The single Rose prop can be used for decoration (which you can add to hair or clothing). The Corona comes with neutral textures, allowing you to colorize it however you see if using the surface panel. To help you get started, we included 09 Diadem Colors Materials & 12 Rose Shaders.

• 02 CANDLE EYE GEOGRAFTS & 01 Wearable

  A Left and Right Eye Geograft adds two small candle props inside the eyes for a striking & artistic effect. For ease of use, they are both applied via a Wearable Preset. You must delete the original eyes before applying. Instructions are available via a handy script.

  As with the Corona, the candle also comes with neutral textures, allowing you to colorize it however you want. To help you get started, we included 09 Wax Colors & 02 Flame Presets (to toggle the 3D Flame ON or OFF).
